Montreal, March 21st, 2016 – The Organizing Committee of the McCord Museum Sugar Ball is excited to announce that the 7th annual Sugar Ball will take place on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the historic Windsor Station. Over 1000 of the city’s brightest young professionals will gather in Downtown Montreal for an exciting night of fundraising, networking, and celebrating.
The 2015 edition of the Sugar Ball raised a record-breaking $165,000 in support of the McCord Museum’s mission of preserving and sharing the city’s social history. While the event always delivers great food, fun music and delicious drinks, its success is fueled by the great cause it stands behind.
This year’s theme for the event is Candyland. The night will start off at 8 p.m. with an exclusive networking event, where 450 attendees will have the opportunity to get in some ‘friendraising’ while Estiatorio Milos, Café Ferreira, Soubois, Le Richmond, Flyjin and Traiteur Brera will be generously providing mouthwatering gourmet fare.
The networking event will be presented by longtime McCord Museum partner Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, who will be joined by Canderel, Groupe Park Avenue, Industrielle Alliance Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, among others, as official partners of the 2016 Sugar Ball.
At 10 p.m., Ball Ticket holders will join Networking Ticket holders as Brahm Mauer Bar Services will kick things up a notch with an open bar and Montreal’s own JOJOFlores & DJ Toddy Flores will be spinning soulful, R&B-inspired beats until the end of the night.
Networking tickets are priced at $200 (+$11.60 fees) while Ball tickets are priced at $140 (+$8.30 fees).
